If I make changes to my options on one toon they get applied to the other toon.

For example, if turn off quest icons for one toon - when I log in as another toon the quest icons are also disabled.

Shouldn't the preferences for a toon be loaded and not the previously configured settings?

Some settings are global in that they effect every character the same., pretty much anything you change in the options window will be global.

Other settings are for the character only, which are things like placement of the ui windows and chat windows.

Because some of those settings are 'global' and won't be affected if I do a /load_uisettings to another toon's settings.

Great.

You can have what your asking for, but I am not certain if the default UI supports it. I know Fettish has a way to change global settings with the click of a button, if I am not mistaken I beleive the default UI has a way to save it as well but its been so long since I messed with it I cant remember how you do it.

I am not in game right now but will look at it tonight if I can remember to.
