View Full Version : Bought character slot special, but charged full SC cost.

<p>I saw the characters slot special on log in this morning to buy each at 500 SC and was looking forward to buying TWO so I could unlock my last two characters. HOWEVER, I was charged 1,000 SC and only received ONE character slot item.</p><p>I purchased from the character select screen.</p><p>Will I be able to receive my 2nd character slot or at least the 500 SC back so I can make the second purchase in time before the special ends today? I'm quite unhappy about this and want TWO character slots for the 500 SC cost each please.<img src="/eq2/images/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" /></p>

<p>This happened to me as well. When I was able to talk to a tech that could help me they're refunding the entire purchase (meaning the character slot will go away) and my sc wallet will get 1,000sc added back to it. They said this may take a couple days to process.</p><p>Since the promotion price is good for today only you'll have to log in and buy your 2 slots in game (where they are actually debiting from your wallet correctly) and wait for the other 1,000sc to be returned to your wallet and the slot associated with that purchase will be gone.</p><p>At least that's how my situation got handled.</p>

<p>Senya was that sent to you via email or did you call them once more? Trying to decide if call them again, as time is ticking by and don't want to not have the character slot for 500 sc.</p><p>Edited for reading comprehension... disregard as you actually said, spoke to someone...</p>

<p>I called them. They sent me an email with the ticket information after I spoke with them. </p>

I took advantage of this because I had 1,150 SC in my wallet there. Now I only have 150 SC. I would have to BUY more SC in order to recieve thw TWO slots I was going to get for this one day only promotion. Completely unacceptable.</p>

<p>I decided to call support and had the problem resolved. Considering I wanted to utilize the existing SC I had at the time which was just enough to cover both character slots, buying more SC was not what I had intended at the time. Thankfully, the agent sent my issue to the escalation team and will credit my account with the second character slot I originally wanted with the initial purchase.</p><p>Therefore, I am satisfied and pleased with the outcome.<img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" /></p>

<p>That's how my ticket is being handled, I chose to have them credit me with the extra character slot rather than having the refund and then repurchasing slots.</p>
