View Full Version : Shader 3 Corruption in Zek

<p>Have posted screenies in the In Testing Shader3 2010 thread.</p><p>This is a recurring problem every time someone running Shader 3 goes to Zek, and the worst part of it is that the corruption gets worse, and continues even after zoning out of Zek, until you are forced to log totally out of EQ2 and restart totally.</p><p>Most players using Shader 3 avoid Zek because of this problem, and I have been forced to turn Shader 3 off, in order to group with my partner there, who isn't running Shader 3.</p>

<p>This issue has already been reported. The texture problem does not appear to hinder anyone from progressing further. Unfortunately no ETA was given on when this would be fixed.</p>
<p>I too am having this problem with Zek and Shader 3.0</p><p>I have to avoid the zone entirely. And now I am getting a Shader 3.0 related problem with ice textures affecting multiple zones <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

<p>I have noticed the ice texture problem in Frostfell Wonderland Village on the test server, where I was still running shader 3. I have now had to turn Shader 3 off on test because of the ice problem, which appeared to come in with one of the weekly updates since Frostfell started.</p>
