Something I found interesting was that the "Man or Beast" mastery tome for the drolvargs implies that the drolvargs consider themselves direct creations of Innoruuk, but we know from Vhalen that they are actually Iksar twisted by Venril Sathir.

I wonder where the Innoruuk angle came in...not that it most likely matters. Just curious.

Venril and Innoruuk had (has?) a few deals, For exemple, Venril gained the knowledge of Lichdom from Inny and according to the EQ1's Duid Epic quest they had another pact going at that time. So while they're probably not a direct creation, it's not too far stretched to think that Inny took some role in it.

Possible, but I doubt Venril would let them know that. He's the type that loves to harp on his own godliness.

Inny,.. iirc gave it to Kotiz 1st and Venril slain him and took it becoming even more powerfull and decided to turn them into the drolvarg beasts.

The drolvarg curse still exists to, when adventurers found recent ship routes to the continent of Kunark the treasure hunters the Wild Bunch came in search of loot. The iksar member of their team nearly as soon as he stepped onto the land of Kunark felt the transformation and turned into a big blue Drolvarg, his ancestors apparently had been of the Kylong clan.

I thought the Unholy Writ of Power was the book Zeb had. I'll go back and find the old lore notes b/c the same book was also given to Mayong which is why they both created "similar" styled creatures.

The city/tribe were called the Drolakis, but they were of the greater Kylong tribes. Drolakis was, I think, supposed to be part of the Dreadlands.

That's neat about the curse still being active in some areas. I forgot that quest.
