The Claymore and portrait are only options if you have not doent the quest before. You might want to check your house or bank for the items if you have done the quest before. Otherwise I would bug-it.

The banner - tapestry(?) is a reward from the collection quest from the purple shinies.

The painting (5th year anniversary woo) and claymore is the reward from the "main" questline where you enter the dude's dreams and venture through his various memories of the expansions to get a shard.

Since the claymore and portrait are heirloom, if you didn't have them in your character's house, vault or bank it's possible that you passed them off to another main/alt.

What for? Its a nice little festival that I was surprised to see become an annual event, but sandwiched between Night of the Dead and Frostfell, which are two major events, I can't see them expanding the Heroes' Festival much beyond its current scope. There's only so many hours in the day to grind repeatables for items and/or tokens! LOL

That's the issue with events recently. They are all just the same top end token grind...

Sure, there may be like 10-15 events per year now, but they've lost their significance in making so many.

But each one doesn't need a full token/merchant system or set of recipes to make it a fun little event (although I'm certainly one to take full advantage when there are cool things to buy/make for any event!).
