A lot of people are having this problem and seems and I havent seen a definite fix yet... I reinstalled the client and downloaded the latest version of flash; this worked for me last night. However, now I am running into the same issue again and no fixes from the forums work. This needs to be corrected soon.

I am finding the same thing trying to install the streaming client on my husband's machine. Sent him the refer a friend and trying to do the streaming client but it sits there with a black background and only showing "SOE" on it.. goes nowhere else. Yes I have updated Adobe Flash and all that but I still continue to get the same thing.

Even tried the Station Launcher and nothing as well. Now I know he has a very updated and current machine... updated graphics cards, powerful motherboard and all that, basically the same machine I have and I can play as I play daily. Funny how any other game we can download and run without a problem but try to download Everquest 2 and we have issues... SoE please fix your stuff. I am also having another friend I referred to play and he is having the same issues we are with my husband getting on.. you cannot tell me this is "us"... this is an SOE problem I believe. No wonder we can't get more players on the servers when the company cannot seem to keep it maintained and easy for players to download the game and play it.

Edit: We use Windows XP 32 bit... we are not even upgraded to Windows 7 so why all the issues? <Prays she doesn't have to reinstal her machine any time soon or I see I won't be playing>
