Stuck on updating?

<p>Okay, long story short---I had some issues with Extended (namely, it ate my EQII regular folder).  So I did a system restore to an earlier point and it was back.  I ran the launcher from the .exe like I normally do, and it had to download a bunch of stuff.  That's fine, no problem.  I figured I was just getting some files back.  But then, it seemed to finish downloading files, but the button that usually goes to red "PLAY" was still grayed out and said updating.  The small buff-coloured "download" button under that one was on, so I clicked it.  Now all it does it rapidly list a file, then goes back to being gray.  </p><p>Essentially, it's not letting me play or update, it's just stuck.  Any ideas?</p>

<p>Okay, this is REALLY frustrating.  None of the .exe files I have work, the station launcher doesn't work, the streaming client download doesn't work.  I CANNOT GET INTO THE GAME.</p><p>Please help with some suggestions.</p>

<p>It looks like you are using the old Launchpad application (this was a godsend for me, because I couldn't get the Streaming Client to work, and the Station Launcher was giving me the "xml" file size error)</p><p>Try going into your EQ2 directory and delete the "lp_temp" folder.  Reboot your machine, load up the launcher.  Try to get it to do a Full File Scan, see if that will work.</p><p>Hope this helps!</p>

<p>I'll have to try that.  I finally got into the regular game using the Station Launcher, but weirdly enough it doesn't have Extended as an option.</p><p>Thanks for the advice, we'll give it a go.</p>

<p>EverQuest II Extended is not included in the Station Launcher and can only be installed using the <a href="http://launch.soe.com/eq2x" target="_blank">EverQuest II Extended Streaming Client</a>.</p>
