Shakin off the dust. I havent touched my toon in a year and a half. Or that game for that matter. Came back all AA"s gone. Even have my gear was off and unattuned. Whatever. When I left 80 was the lvl cap. Any suggested good reads for a templar just coming back to the game.

Is profit UI still a good healer UI. I feel a bit like a fresh newb all over again. I hear that Befallen is merging with Oasis sometime soon. Do we still need Eq maps? Only thing that hasnt changed is it still takes me forever to melee something to death.

Any useful tips or reads would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, well I was just kidding. We can do pretty good dps, however... Still probably one of the worst, but with the upcoming change of double attack to multi-attack, we should be able to do some good melee dps. Over 100% multi-attack means 100% chance to double attack, plus whatever % is left over to triple attack. So, with a good 2-hander, that's pretty good.

I've never used profit UI, but I know some people still do. You can now click on specific detrimentals under a person's name to cure them, which can be handy (regular UI). EQ2 maps is still useful, but not all the zones are updated.

As far as healing goes, I would say we are one of the best, and definitely a healer for the MT group. I didn't raid when I was level 80, so I don't know if that's how it was before, but I think it was. Sorry I'm not more help, but I didn't really play that much a year and a half ago, so I can't tell you how much is different. However, one AA you should definitely try to spec to get is Divine Guidance, which is the endline cleric ability. It is definitely one of the best healing spells.

Not too much has changed for templars in the past year. If you knew what you were doing back then you should be able to get back up to speed in no time.

I use profitUI as well as the maps mod.

I agree - not too much changed, except some new nift stuff to put AA into.

If you plan on raiding, I would suggest putting points into Cure Curse to bring down the recast time.

Also - with the expansion - now WIS is what affects your damage output. (or the main stat for any toon - so mages DPS from from INT, scouts from AGI, etc.) This mean you can kill things a hell of a lot faster than previously able.

And that is it (at least that I can think of right now)
