Exactly what subject said. This started happening *100%* of the time ever since SF came out on my coercer. I would PE a melee mob and make it go tank for me. Pre-sf I had weird issues where sometimes it would run up to a mob, other times it wouldnt. I would click the pet attack button OR type /pet attack and see him run in front of me for 2-3 seconds then stop just short of the mob I wanted him to attack. He is in attack stance wanting to attack but just stares at the mob and stays that way for minutes. He never gets into melee range. The only option I have is to pull the mob in my melee range, summon my pet to attack, then I would run back out of melee range so the pet can tank him.

I have tried multiple mobs in different zones, same issue. Now when I Charm a pet they are absolutely fine. I would send my pet to attack and he runs straight to the mob in melee range and proceeds to attack.

I was curious if other classes had the same problem so I rolled a necro and to my amazement the necro tank pet was doing the exact same thing! It would never reach melee range when I would tell it to go attack.

What confuses me is if I PE a mage pet or summon the mage pet on my necro, they run into to range of the mob I tell it to attack and start nuking away. The tank pets act this way on my coercer on the outside world or in public instances or in lockout instances or in raids.

Come to think of it, even when I was an illy pre-65 my illy pet did the same thing pre tso. It wouldnt run up to melee range when I sent it to attack. It would freeze up for a minute then it would eventually cast spells and when the mob was in range.

Please tell me I am not the only one who uses tank pets has this issue. It makes PE completely useless to me and I haven't used it for a very long time in any group unless I can PE a mage mob. PE on my coercer is M1 and tank pet is expert btw if that helps.
