Warfields are not working as intended and it is quite obvious to everyone. There needs to be a change that promotes actual pvp and get rid of fighting NPCs for pvp rewards.

A change to Warfields is despreately needed as it stands t9 is over in seconds then everyone logs to alts and does each teir warfield and gain tokens for completing warfields at each tier.

A small change would promote actual pvp again and could help to even out the population again. Get rid of guardians and towers and just give a buff while in the zone that gives bonus tokens for completing pvp writs and happens simultaneously at each tier to avoid token farming. This would promote pvp again and not this garbage of zone in kill NPCs and get pvp tokens without killing people.

Please I beg you change warfields in some way to promote pvp.

EDIT: added this to the end...originally added it as another post but I felt it should be in the op.

Leave the Wfs tiered as they are and no buff if you are not within the level range but have the buff give:

Bonus tokens for completing a pvp writ

Reduce resuse of Wanted Poster by 50%

To get the buff you must go near a tower........the buff lasts as long as you are in zone and the towers are up

Buff lasts as long as towers are up (30 min...1 hour)

Any enemy you kill while the buff is active increases fame as long as they are not on recent (fame gain based on fame title of enemy player killed)

Buff reduces recent list length and time on recent by 50%

Move towers to different locations and place PVP writ giver inside each faction tower that will speak only to people of that faction.

Place barriers for 100 meters around the towers that do not allow for combat to avoid camping of other factions towers, but if already engaged in combat cannot enter the barrier which is the only safe haven in zone no other immunity given and can revive inside the tower. Exiting the barrier area gives the immunity timer countdown. Group healing and heals cannot be cast on anyone outside the barrier by someone inside the barrier.

well i dont know how it is on nag, but on vox the system would work great if players would just come out to pvp. the towers are there to be attacked and defended. since a lot of players cant leech anymore and accually have to work for there tokens, they dont bother coming out. too many players want pvp to be easy and thats not the way it should be.

The way it is on naggy is that 90% of the server is freeport across all tiers. They will place their flags right on the towers, zone right into the tower, zerg the towers dead and leave. Qeynos normally has no chance Ive looked at towers from distances to see clearly over 100 people attacking them and then checked to see 7 qeynos in zone. Everyone swapped to freeport it seems since you dont even have to pvp to get your tokens now, Naggy is just about a blue server.

Everyone has their own ideas to fix pvp I think these are good ideas that would help the entire server and are not favoring one side over the other and would help to stabalize the imbalance of factions.

These changes look good I hope the dev actually looks at them cause something needs to be done about pvp and soon.

I agree that something needs to be done soon. The population difference, the Wfs and no penalty for exiling are all killing the qeynos population.....maybe we should all just go to Freeport and get free tokens with the rest of the server.

This would further limit PVP. Tripling or quadrupling the cost of BG merchant gear on PVP servers might encourage people to re-think open world pvp. A penalty for instaced pvp-lite would be a better choice to get people out in the open again.

A few months ago I quit the game because it was so awful and I was in freeport. When I came back I saw how ridiculous freeport was and swapped over. (Im not arguing for myself here so please dont don't call me out when you have no idea what or where I have been in this game).

Just because qeynos was apparently a zerg doesnt mean that it should be freeports turn to zerg thats just silly.

What Im trying to say here is that we need to get rid of the zerg peroid, not just shuffle it back and forth between factions because I guarantee you that all those Qeynos zerg people you are speaking of are obviously the people who are now zerging on freeport.

As for the population it varies from side to side but now with no penalty for exiling across its getting worse and something needs to be done to help stop the one sided fights more and more people will just be driven away from the game instead of promoting actually pvp all that happens now is people zone in kill the NPCs then log on an alt and do the next tier and next without fighting anyone.
