login server not available

<p>After what I have to say was the most difficult labor instensive install I have ever had on a game - I finally made it to a login window, only to repeatedly see "login servers may not be available, please try again later".  I am sort of stumped and frustrated now.  Anyone have advice?</p><p>(I hate making this type of post my first post - sorry)</p><p>Actually its:</p><p>"Could not connect to a login server.  Login servers may be busy; please try again ina  few minutes"</p>

<p>I had a crash after install ...keep saying i had an error ..after 2 days of frustration all i had to do is to run eq as an admnistrator ...lol...fraking windows !!!! lol Anyway the forums are the escape for when servers are down ...good luck ..</p>

<p>LOL - the only way I ever even got to the login window was runnning it as admin.  I wont even go through everything I went through just to get to that point, only to not be able to actually log in. <sigh></p><p>Thanks for the reply though <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

<p>If you aren't already using the EverQuest II Streaming Client, please grab a copy of it from <a href="http://launch.soe.com/eq2 " target="_blank">here</a>.  If the launcher is installed in the default location you shouldn't have to run the game as an admin.  </p>

<p>Sounds like we're having an issue with log-in servers right now. I'm trying to get more information.</p>

<p>Same problem here.  I was in Zek on Naga, tried to zone out to Q and got invalid password and was booted off.  Now, it says login servers down.</p>
