The templar forum on eq2flames would probably be the best place to look, as long as you don't mind a little foul language once in a while. The templar forum is generally pretty tame compared to the rest of the site. Check out Slippery's "How to not [stink] at healing" post for some tips if you need them.

Basically at low levels you probably don't have much (if any) proc items so your main worry should probably be to keep the group reactive up at all times and keep the single reactive on the tank to start anyways. You can use your group heal when the group needs healing. You will not have repent until level 80 so I guess you don't have to worry much about that.

Once you get some levels and gear you should change the strategy a bit. You'll still cast the group reactive whenever it's up but also cast the group heal whenever it's up, mainly for the procs. Cast repent whenever it's up and keep the single target reactive on the tank and when necessary on other people in the group/raid. Now sometimes you may want to save repent or the group heal to time for an AoE or something, but in general cast them every time the button is available.

I won't go into detail (unless you really want it) on the other stuff we get, like shield of faith, sanctuary, holy shield, etc., but they can be very powerful tools depending on the fight.

I think there were a few beginner AA posts in this forum a while ago. In the cleric tree I'd aim to get Steadfast in the str line and then either weapon bonus and crit chance in the sta line or spell damage and cast speed in the int line when first starting out. I'd probably go with str and sta just starting for soloing. For the templar tree I'd go for Smites first for soloing and leveling up. I'd also get Litany of Combat pretty early on in the shadows tree.
