I have a weird problem, after using invisibility ability on my swashbuckler the textures on world and player models become corrupted, initially lightly, but with each new invisibility usage, it becomes more pronounced to the point where the game becomes unplayable. If I dont use invis, everything is fine. This has started about a month ago after some update.

I have a PC with Vista x64, quad intel processor, video is nVidia 280GTX, latest drivers (installed in safe mode, after driver cleaner). No other game has this problem. I also play with nVidia 3d Vision setup, but again - this issue started about a month ago, before that all was fine.

If you have Shader 3.0 enabled, see if disabling helps. If you can please post the contents of your eq2_recent.ini file so we can go over your in-game settings. The file can be found in your EverQuest II installation directory.

Make sure you exclude the "cl_username" line when posting your information.

Try reproducing the error with Shader 3.0 disabled and let me know your results.

Same thing happened to me tonight. Never seen anything like it, but the screenshot above is EXACTLY what I end up seeing.

Running a i7 920, Geforce GTX 285, 12 gigs of 8500 tri-channel ram.

Tried many things, updated drivers, removed recently installed software, directx reinstall (9.0c), etc.

It seems to be good for a few zones, then BAM. Chrome mounts, etc.

That's exactly the error I see with shader 3.0 enabled in Zek too, just running around can trigger it there.

Rezoning, swapping characters etc all have no effect (and it corrupts worse and worse until the "fauna" moves backwards and forwards across the screen too along with the corrupted textures. I saw "fauna" because at that point its just a collection of small textures, so it appears to be a pointer getting corrupted somewhere.

The only fix it to relog out and log back in, I have not gotten that error anywhere else but in Zek, I used to think it was due to going down the mine (where it starts corrupting every time when I zone into that small training is a shield instance), but it does go bad elsewhere too.

I've reported the problem a few weeks ago, however no ETA was given on when this would be fixed.
