<p>I do wonder, long ago any AOE would break it. Now mobs are immune to aoe but i wonder if they are immune only to open AOE or to encounters AOE or to both.</p><p>I also wonder</p><p>if the gardian/zek frontal AOE anto attack (dragon breath) can break a mezz.</p><p>if infusion breaks it.</p><p>My list is open, other abilities may break it.</p>

<p>It's broken by an AE/AoE spell cast before the mes spell.</p>

<p>AE autoattack ignores AoE avoid so will break mezzes. Also, any DOT's on the mob will break a mezz.</p>

<p>If you directly target a mezzed mob when casting an AE spell/ability then it will break mez.</p><p>If the mezzed mob is standing next to your target when casting an AE spell/ability then it will not break mez.</p>
