<p>I threw together a graph of the processor usage on an i7 720QM (mobile i7, quad-core) with the ATI 5870 mobile GPU. It's interesting that EQ2 allows the main core to ramp up the frequency to near max, and keeps the other cores at a reasonable level so that the main core doesn't downclock while the game is running. This game still uses a ton of CPU though, maxing the GPU doesn't even make it flinch.</p><p><img src="http://web6.twitpic.com/img/184829551-7c271a5c804c419919b07d13e8f34135.4ccb6e10-full.png" width="600" height="371" /></p>
