I'm attempting to click on stuff, and when I do, the camera seems to like to adjust itself pointing up or doing a profile view of me ... it happens when I left click on something, .. I have no other assocations to this ... but it's getting to the point where I click on someone in PVP and my camera angel shifts and I can't see what is going on.

Have you made any changes to the key bindings? You may want to make backups and then delete the following files and folders:

cache foldereq2_recent.inieq2_default.iniEverQuest2.exee q2.ini

As well as the character specific files, these will appear as such:Servername_CharacterName_EQ2_uisettings.iniSt ationname_characters.ini

If the problem still persists you can place these files back into their original locations.

yes, I maitain 3 copies of everquest 2 ... one for each account then an unaltered one, which is just updates, with no changes made to it, default everything .. and it still happens there. Not sure what to do, but it's frusterating.

Are you running multiple instances of the game? If so, does the problem still appear when running just one instance of the game?

yes, it happens in a singular instance of the game as well as multipul instances of the game. It's like the 'left click' is allowing to change the camera angel ... or it's trying to re-center itself or something.

What type of mouse are you using? Some input devices may come with their own software to allow you to bind keys to a button, in which case you might want to try disabling the software.

If that doesn't work lets try disabling any unnecessary applications from running in the background.

To disable background programs:1. Select the START button.2. Select RUN, then type in "msconfig" (for Vista, type msconfig in the search bar at the bottom of the Start Menu)3. Press OK4. Select the STARTUP tab.5. Click the DISABLE ALL button.6. Hit apply and then OK. Restart the computer and try the game again.

Currently, I'm using a Logitech Anywhere MX, ... but I've also tried multiple mouses to alleviate that issue.

Also, I use a program called deep freeze ... my computer has the same start up every single time, nothing else gets loaded, if I get a virus or something, i reboot and it's gone ... eq2 is setup on a secondary partition that is unaffected by that ... so the clearing out my start up items wont' fix it either, as they are the same as they were before this started.

Logitech mice usually ship with SetPoint driver/software. There have been a few reports that SetPoint can interfere with EverQuest II. If you currently have this installed on your system would you mind uninstalling them for troubleshooting purposes?

Full information ... if you don't want to open it from there, I can paste in bits and pieces to comply with the character limit of the forum.

Note, there is a microsoft presenter mouse driver in there ... I don't use that mouse, it's just the bluetooth adapter that I'm using.

I'm actually having this exact same issue. It has happened for awhile now but it seems to be getting worse often after clicking I'll find my character looking up at the sky and I have to adjust the camera all over again it's getting really irritating in raids and pvp. I'm using a Naga Razer mouse and the only application this seems to happen with is EQ2. I tried cranking down the mouse look sensitivity, but that didn't do a whole lot.

I had a similar problem on my old computer [Removed for Content] Vista/Logitech mouse. Was intermittent, but since it went away when I upgraded computer I never persued it further. You might check for updated mouse drivers though.

I removed those three and saw the same issue. However I did go back run msconfig disabled all services and startup items tested again. That time it went away now I've just been going through all my startup items one at a time trying to figure out what is conflicting.

Thanks for the update Mindgamez, hopefully you can narrow down the service/start up item that was interfering with the game and share it with us.

I've looked over your msinfo and found a few applications that may interfere with the game. Please disable/uninstall the following apps for troubleshooting purposes.

- Super Flexible File Synchronizer - TuneUp Utilities- John's Background Switcher

You can also launch your System Configuration tool (Press the Windows and R keys on your keyboard and type msconfig). From there you can disable individual start up items and services.

Okay, after disabling them and giving it a try, it still does the samething. I disabled them and restarted, ... it remained the same, so I put it back to normal.
