Launchpad not launching.

<p>Had game freeze while zoning.  I rebooted the pc and now launchpad just brings up the SOE logo and doesn't launch anything.  Using EQ Extended.  Suggestions?</p><p>Thank you.</p>

<p>I've had this happen a few times too. Reinstallation isn't usually necessary. Just try to start Launchpad.exe from a windows explorer window.</p><p>SoE, your new streaming client launcher is really poor compared to the old one.</p>

Really don't want to have to re-install just to get the blasted launcher to work (like ah said in mah own thread, it worked before patching so it must be something with the launcher)</span></p>

<p>Just run the file Launchpad.exe from your EQ2 folder.</p>

Don't mean to be showing mah idiocy here, but that is what ah have been doing, read mah thread further down to see what mah problem with the game not loading is</span></p>

<p>Correct. I've had the problem when using the shortcut. Running the executable from explorer made it work. What can I say?</p><p>Happened to me more than once.</p>

<p>I messed around with the launcher.ini settings a little bit, It seems the launcher updates to a url that doesn't work.</p><p>Replace-</p><p>webapp=http://launch.soe.com/lp3/index.html</p><p>With-</p><p>webapp=http://launcher.station.sony.com/lp3/index.html</p><p>It will allow you to go pass the SOE logo, And perhaps play the game if it wasn't the problem for you...However you may have to do this everytime you wish to play until SOE fixes this problem.</p>
