Can't connect to EQ2

<p>A good number of people across multiple servers just dropped offline and cannot reconnect to EQ2.  About 1/4 of my raid cannot reconnect.  Routing issues inc?</p>

<p>Add a bunch of people from Unrest that have the same problem.</p>

<p>When you you say you can't reconnect, where does the problem start?</p><p>Do you get to "connecting to zone server" just after you click play at character select and then get booted back to character select?</p><p>I've got a thread going with that problem...</p>

<p>Level3.net suffered an outage on a link between Atlanta and Dallas.  Many folks on the east cost lost the ability to talk to any sony service for about... (9 minutes?).   If your path from wherever you are, to sony, goes across that link, you were just hosed.</p><p>Run a tracert to eq2players.com.   If your traceroute includes Atlanta2.Level3.net, followed by Dallas1.Level3.net - that's what got you.</p><p>This has happened several times in the past few weeks in the evenings.   Always the same link, affecting the same people depending on their ISP and location.  Although this was the longest outage I've noticed.</p><p>-Ken</p>
