Is there any word on the ability to change professions? I sort of expected that ability to come with this update. I also hate to beg since we got so much love with this update, but is there a possibility that we could port to any house that we have "trustee" access to from the GH? That would really be helpful and I think would encourage people to spread out in their housing.

First question: if you're speaking of tradeskill professions, the tradeskill counselor in your home city will reset you to level 9. You'll loose every class recipe books (advanced, common, faction recipes) and retain every artisan book (AA mirror, moors recipes, tradeskill group instances recipes, world event recipes) and your secondary TS recipes (adorning/transmuting)

Second question: they said it wasn't possible but I would definatedly love this possibility!

I was referring to those of us who want to change our adventuring profession but keep the tradeskilling one intact.

The discussion has been going on for some time and I was kind of thinking it was going to be implemented in this update, so was wondering if there was any word on when or any details on how.

For adventuring changes; two things are occuring. One already went into the GU#58 dealing with betrayal.

Betrayal: you can change your alignment and not change your class or change to original class without losing spell upgrades if applicable. If you betray to different class, any shared spells won't be reset but others will be reset. This does not effect your AAs nor adventure level.

DoV: a quest to change your adventure class to reset back to level 9 is in the works. AFAIK right now it's a table discussion as the Devs are dealing with this possiblity. In this case, one will lose their AAs as well as all spells. This option is meant for those who are high level crafters and low level adventurers who dislike their chosen adventurer's profession. Same idea as changing your tradeskill because you dislike it. You lose all your recipes from level 10 on up and tradeskill levels since they are reset back to level 9.

I would love the chance to change the adventure type. I have 5 tradeskillers and only one I need to change the adventure level on. Hell, I wouldn't really care if they take it back down to 1. But could do it below.

Have it go through the Class Trainers, you can do it 2 ways:

1) Straight Change - You talk to a Class trainer and you are at level one with a clean slate on everything adventure wise..

2) Quest Change - You talk to the Class trainer and makes you level one and you do the quest to switch your class to a "Coercer" and you are then at level 9 and possibly you get to keep your skills, Gathering, Foresting, Mining, and such but everything else is a clean slate.

Of all the things about the game I hate, leveling those skill the most and would love to keep those skills. Besides with some of the tradeskill quests you need those skills anyway.

I like what they did with the mounts and currency and doubled the trade windows.

I would like the possibility of choosing multiple items to put in the trade box at one time. I would also like to see that currency tab be incorperated in the shared bank. That way you can put them in one spot for all your toons.

From what I've read from the devs, the quest is more likely to be how it's done. They do have to balance the adventure change with betrayal system. And since the betrayal system is now changed, I suspect it'll be the quest route that will be taken.

The multiple click items to move to trade box, to me is nbd - more for personal taste but not a necessity. As it is now, all I do is just move it into the window - it'll place the item where it wants. Multiple placing might cut out - what? - 12 seconds for 12 objects?

Currency box - I agree with. Besides, right now, I would have to cycle through characters to see what's in their currency box since it's automatic placement. Then I need to remove those that other characters need. So, it's really easier for multiple characters on an account, to just remove them from the currency box when obtained and place in your bank shared box so all characters have easy access.

As the new currency box stands - for my practical usage, it's worthless. Right now I have so many tokens of all types, I don't even know what some of them were used for or if they are still useful. Too many different tokens is a bit much. SoE should perhaps convert all tokens into one type - Norrath Token that can be spent just like coin.

They seem to be looking into letting tradeskillers change the adventure class they have chosen. I know there are at least 2 toons I would love to change. Hopefully they get this in soon. Seems like alot of people are for it and I know I would change at least 2 of my toons over...

http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=485104

People seem to want the moon and stars with it by keeping their AA and everything but I would just like a clean slate. Wipe all quests/achievements not related to tradeskilling. Keep the harvesting skill (truthfully one of the big reasons I don't want to just start over by deleting and rerolling), and keep all items in my bank/inventory. The developers won't give a time line for when we can hope to see this go into the game but I hope it's soon. I have 2 toon slots collecting dust due to poor class picks for myself. Mabye Domino could shed a little light on the topic... /wink/wink

~Rhigun~
