Is steadfast ever going to get fixed? It's getting real old getting interrupted when I have full AA into it and standing still for 30+sec.

It has been like this for awhile, how about stop adding marketplace items to the game and work on broken mechanics.

Just so you're aware, bumping your posts is a no-no here and mods will drop the hammer on you for doing it repeatedly. Basically, all you can do is make your post, hope a dev sees it and otherwise suffer in silence.

Repeated posting and/or bumping will just end up getting your posting privs revoked by one of the mods.

The devs have read your post. For whatever reason they aren't going to reply to it. This is normal around here.

One day, assuming they decide to fix this particular problem, one of the might reply to say a fix is coming "soon" - which could be the next hotfix, the next GU, the next expansion, or the next game.

hm, since you can't bump your own post, Bump for Remora. Tired of 10 AAs into an ability thats bugged and would take 2 seconds to fix. Here, I'll even give you the easy way out.

Steadfast 1: Prevents target from getting interrupted/stifled, duration of 4 seconds.

After 3.9 seconds applies Steadfast 2.

- As long as caster doesn't move.

Steadfast 2: Prevents target from getting interrupted/stifled, duration of 4 seconds.

After 3.9 seconds applies Steadfast 1.

- As long as caster doesn't move.

/cue sarcasm... You are right SOE, if you ignore it long enough it will probably fix itself.

I was feeling hopeful that a fix would actually make it to live this week given there was a fix on test according to Test patch notes. Then I remembered this is SOE who runs this game and I'll be lucky to see a fix by the end of next expansion.

How hard is it to fix a stifle/interupt immunity? I can think of a couple of ways off the top of my head that should have taken you seconds to program in. Please put the coffee/mountain dew/whatever caffinated drink programer drink now-a-days down and do work to fix problems instead of stupid stuff like "All of the guards at the Academy of Arcane Science in North Freeport are now level 45". I mean come on.

Looks like I get to bump this for another week.

Devs don't work for free, and no one is expecting them to. They are expecting them to actually do their jobs, like develop. That doesn't mean send something out to the live servers half-[Removed for Content] and broken and then saying "Be happy we even gave you that ability." Either get it to work, or don't put it in the game. Broken abilities, traits, and spells are the leading cause of game imbalances, and since this game is not in its infancy stage anymore where it was the new shiny toy on the market, they can't afford to ignore things like this anymore.

Arandar@Everfrost wrote:

Just so you're aware, bumping your posts is a no-no here and mods will drop the hammer on you for doing it repeatedly.
So I was fighting this mob called hardmode construct, which happens to have 3 AOEs. The first one of them happens to have a stifle on it. Now get this, being a cleric spec'd for steadfast, I thought surely I could cure this 100% of the time while standing still for 20+seconds. To my dismay this wasn't the case.

Then, logging into the forums, to my shock and dismay this bug has already been posted and it still isnt fix. This made me a sad panada.

All joking a side, do work and fix this.
