<p>lp_temp/UI/Default/eq2ui_mainhud_tutorial.xmlI don't know what the problem is i cant figure it out either, after GU58 it just started doing this! forgot to mention that these files are in Rar, didn't know if that would help but i've tried deleting it out and i've tried extracting the files there to no avail.</p>

<p>I have the same problem.  I uninstalled eq2, reinstalled from my CDs, updated the whole game as a fresh install and this same problem keeps coming up.  It is pretty annoying!</p>

<p>same problem here.</p><p>I rec'd the following instructions from customer support.  However, it hasn't fixed the problem.</p><p>Hello, Working Around the User Access Control (UAC)1. Make sure you are logged in on an Administrator account.2. Navigate to the Station Launcher folder (Usually c:program filessonystation will contain the Station Launcher folder)3. Right click on the Station Launcher folder and go to properties4. Click on the Security Tab5. Click on the Edit button.6. Go through each username or group listed and make sure all "Allow" boxes are checked7. Ensure that no "Deny" boxes are checked and click OK. Restart computer. Then, please remove the 'LP_TEMP' folder found in the error: C:ProgramDataSony Online EntertainmentInstalled GamesEverQuest IIlp_tempIf your 'Program Data' folder is not present, go into control panel, folder options, and select 'show hidden files and folders'Then re launch the launcher and let it patch the folder.If you have any further questions, please contact us back for further support.</p><p>Edit to add the following:</p><p>I decided to delete the station launcher since customer service is unable to help me.  Instead I have installed the EQII launcher that I used to have.</p><p><a href="http://www.everquest2.com/gameinfo/updates/58">http://www.everquest2.com/gameinfo/updates/58</a> and chose from the top menu===Get the Game====download game.</p><p>this installed the EQII launcher and updates for me.</p>

<p>Thanks XYE...i did what you said and finally got the correct station launcher.  Currently downloading 12gb of files with the big green PLAY button.   That other station launcher- blue colored one.. would never update correctly and I kept getting same error message as the OP did in this thread..problem concerning size of file blah blah blah.  Once all these files are downloaded it should work...its the same launcher as the EQ 2 Extended which works fine for me..thanks again</p>
