Launcher does nothing, well very little

<p>I click on it to play, run as administrator, It goes to my tool bar(right corner with time and other stuff running), it is also minimized on the bottom bar, but I can't maximize it, and I can't do anything with it, well I can close it, but I want to play.</p><p>I've been getting to the game through Windown Explorer C:/, but now since the patcher took, I try to back door it, and I get this message on both of my accounts "Login Rejected: theclient's version does not match the servers. please rerun the patcher". I'm able to get through on the other EQ2 Icon in C:/ and it goes to scanning update almost to the very end, then stops, it says its running in the task manager, but when I end the process tree from there, it says it stop responding...</p><p>I closed out on my Zone alarm(firewall) so I dont believe that could be it. it is running in the task manager too..</p><p>Thank you in advanced..</p>

<p>I went to chat help the TSR told me it was my video card,  I run on Vista, I have 8 gigs of mem. have a nice dual core processor, my video is the stock G35 express chipset, I know it's weak, but I have been playing for over a year on it, why would it just stop..I updated the drivers for it, and I'm running DirectX 11.</p><p>Anyone have any ideas? or should I get a video card?</p><p>wouldn't it begin to log you in, and or get you further then the station manager were you log in and choose your character? I'm not so sure I'm buying what the help desk said....</p><p>My other PC, that is older has one but it wouldn't be compatable..plus I have 2 accounts so I play on 2..</p><p>Thanks</p>

<p>turns out SOE no longer supports station launcher, that was all of my problems, thanks TSR Kevin F. for telling me it was my video card, technically you were wrong!</p>

Considering that is the main method of patching that application and there is a support forum specificly for station launcher</p><p>download</p><p><a href="http://launcher.station.sony.com/">http://launcher.station.sony.com/</a></p><p>on the right side of the page is the forums link</p><p>The builtin G35 Express chipset is not suitable for gaming, especially real time gaming. It works for spread sheets and the such.</p>
