I have been getting crashes to desktop. They only occur during battle and only with certain enemies, usually iksar or other enemies found in Kylong Plains and Fens. It seems to crash right when I start a battle with them or the seconds when I kill them. I figured it was a video card or sound card problem. I have updated to the latest drivers of each. The problem still occurs. When it crashes it closes the game instantly and does provide a crash log and it does not display an error of any kind. I have also tried to remove the cache folder and the various ini files as suggested in other threads.

OS: Windows 7 (64 bit)

Video Card: Nvidia 9800GT (PCIe)

Soundcard: Realtek High Defination Audio Device (onboard)

I was experiencing the same thing, Windows 7 64bit, nVidia GeForce 9800 also thought my video card was dieing. I did find a solution that worked for me. I contribute the mess to the September Windows Update for the nVidia. I know better than to use Windows Updates for hardware updates (still slapping self over it).

I am not sure if I am supposed to place links to this information in forum but I am going to give you the link that solved my problem and hope it helps you as well. If I am wrong in providing a link in this mannner, I do apologize.

Follow the instructions completely... it is easier than it first appears. I printed the instructions before I did mine.

http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?...howtopic=169555

Best of luck to you!
