I'd like to know the gist of 'em. I know they're Thule-blessed ogres, but I want to know if they can summon a bit of Greenmist or something, and I wanna know what their goals are and what they're trying to do in the Moors, if that info is available.

The developers kinda dropped the ball for explaining the existence of the Thullosian ogres, as not too much was revealed other than some basic background info.

- Since these are the ogres who went after the Frogloks in Gukta and Guk, they had no involvement in defiling the Temple of Cazic Thule. When the Greenmist was unleashed, it tracked these guys down deep inside the caverns of Guk, which itself also partially protected them from it.

-The Thullosians claim that the Greenmist knew that they weren't involved with the Temple, but since they were still part of the same army and race, it gave them 2 options: either be changed by the Greenmist with their sworn devotion to Cazic Thule, or die.

-They chose to accept Cazic Thule, and the Greenmist turned thier skin green. I don't recall if any further details were given about this transformation, but I don't believe they can summon the Greenmist or anything. They don't have any special attacks to indicate they could.

-As far as their current goals... Well.. They seem to just want to survive.

Interesting. Semi-related note: Have you done all the quests in New Halas? One of my guildies said that there was some frozen Greenmist around the Frostfang Sea.

It's not likely though, as Erollis is a chunk of Velious, and the Greenmist did not reach Velious at any point in its history.

There is a quest in New Halaas that has you taking frozen bits of green mist to put in fire in an effort to take out the ogres.

The orcs in the caverns underneath the city. You put some of the frozen greenmist a barbarian found in the fire pits and the thawing fog kills all of Rallos Zek's creations in the inclosed area. No ventilation, so it's concentrated. They explain quite clearly how and when they found it.

no, of course not. The game mechanics don't work like that.

Yeah, it's a shame that race has no bearing on game mechanics like it did in EQLive.

It should. Just like you'd think there'd be more to a bunch of Thule-converted ogres changed and perhaps imbued by the Greenmist.
