Login Rejected - No patcher?

<p>When I try to log in, I receive the following error:</p><p>""Login rejected: The client's version does not match the server's.  Please re-run the patcher."</p><p>I am running Windows 7 Professional, so have been using the station launcher to get into the game as, at one time, you could not use the everquest2.exe application to get in.</p><p>At the LAST big update, Station Launcher quit working, had to be removed, reinstalled, etc, etc, etc - and when it WAS reinstalled, it redownloaded the WHOLE GAME. Once it was done, all of my UI settings were gone and Profit UI no longer worked. So, I chose to try NOT using launcher at that time and went back to using the everquest2.exe application to launch the game.</p><p>Once that change was made, I was able to access the game AND profit worked correctly again. BUT, the game now seems to be launching without running any kind of patcher, thus making it impossible to "re-run the patcher."</p><p>Help!</p>

<p>It redownloaded the game because it chose a different directory than the one you initially had eq2 installed in. That is why you lost your custom ui as well. Launch eq2.exe instead of everquest2.exe from the folder you are in now and it should launch the patcher.</p><p>Silat</p>

<p>It gets to "launchpad.exe" and stops, then gives me an error message telling me I need to go to <a href="http://launchpad.station.sony.com">http://launchpad.station.sony.com</a> to reinstall. This just takes me to the Station Launcher download page. Just to see if it would help, I DID redownload the launcher, but am still getting the same error. <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

<p>yayayayaya!!! I found it!!</p><p>Instead of being installed in the "Program Files" or "Program Files (x86)" directory, there was a hidden "ProgramData" directory created that I had to go into the computer's search function to find. Copied my UI's over and profit info and everything seems to work now!!</p>
