So recently I decided to chronomentor down to a lower level so I could run fallen gate. Before mentoring down for the first time I had somewhere over 9k hit points but I'm not sure how many exactly. Well after getting all the way to the end of Fallen gate then dieing I decided I'd change the level I was chronomentored too so finishing the final boss would be easier. When i stopped mentoring I noticed I was at exactly 9k hps. I had been pretty sure that I had more than 9k before the mentoring but not positive so I decided that this time I would write down how many I had to start. So I mentored down again and finished the dungeon then stop mentoring. I was left with 8990 hps! I tried taking off my armor, zoning, and logging out and back in but nothing restored my hit point number to where it was before. Has anyone else ever experienced this? Am I going to permanently loss a fraction of my hps every time I chronomentor?

Make sure you drop all of your buffs and then recast them.

Silat

I'll try that when I get a chance but I don't think I have any buffs that currently effect the number of hps I have (I'm a swashie by the way). Thanks for the suggestion!

Do you have a diety buff (pet)? They need to be recast everytime you mentor/unmentor.

I don't have one that I know of and I should probably look into getting one. I'd say I'm a returning player but I've been back for a few months now but I did take a break for a few years right after kingdom of sky came out and I am still uncovering many of the changes that happened since I was gone. I've only taken advantange of chronomentoring a few times now and I didn't really pay much attention the last time I did so I don't know if this has occured before. Thanks for the advice though!

Well I just tried recasting bladeweaver in my nonmentored state and I'm still at 8990 hps which I know for sure is less than the 9000 I had before using the chronomage. Still looking for an explaination.

"consume now" should fix it.

What's amazing is that nobody in this whole thread pulled out a parse and accused SOE of nerfing their <insert ability-stat-item-here>.
