Test Copy Server Question

<p>I wanted to try out the PvP test server copy; however, my character on there is only level 10 so finding someone to PvP was impossible.  Do they charge to copy a character to the test server copy?</p><p>Also, why does my SC amount have 999,999?  If i buy something from the marketplace, will it come out of my real total?</p><p>Thank you.  <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

<p>You have unlimited Station Cash on Test Copy.  It's designed for letting people play test what they want to buy before they truly have to commit to it on a live server.  In hind sight, I wish that I knew that before I bought one of the summoned vanity pets since it didn't look like what I did on the screen shots.</p><p>How do you duplicate a character?  That's a good question.  I'd love to know since I'm interested in doing some play testing myself.  It is a free process.  If memory serves, it's some variation of "/test_copy" or "/test copy".</p>

log in the char you want to copy /testcopy add my last copy went over very fast but it can be very different

<p>that sounds so easy!  lol.  can i copy a lot of characters?  do i need to be on the other test server or can i copy from a different server?  i'm on test now so i can copy my level 32 rat.  <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" />  i'd prefer to copy my 54 fury or 44 necro but they are on everfrost.</p>

<p>Yes, you can copy ANY live server character over to Test Copy.  That's how developers get people to test out the various bits of 90th raid content.  Just log into the desired character, type in the command, and wait.  In the old days, sometimes it would take days for the copy to appear on Test Copy.  Though it sounds like this isn't the case anymore.</p>

<p>My copied character from last week no longer shows up on character select with the Test client, nor is test_copy a server option from character creation when using the Test client.  (Both worked just fine last week.)  Did something happen to Test_Copy with last night's Test patch?</p>

<p>We killed the Test Copy hamster due to an exploit.  It will be rezzed with today's Test update (which is in progress now).</p>
