<p>for some reason i have not been able to get on test lately (prolly issues with my profit UI) But the question I had is this:</p><p>I heard a while back something about the BG token consolidation and am wondering more info on this, how much does the new gear cost with the consolidated token what is the consolidated token and when is it coming to live?</p><p>Please and thank you</p>

<p>From all Test reports, there will be no changes on the net totals of the existing items.  For the conversion, a Gears token (5-10 minute run) is the same as a Smugglers (15-20 minute run).  An old item which used to cost 45 Gears tokens and 45 Smugglers tokens now costs 90 Generic tokens.</p><p>Also the quests are being changed.  Now they'll act more like Daily Double quests which the zone of the day, which include both of the old quest types.  So if the BG zone of the day was Gears, then the Win quest and the Kill quest would be for Gears.  No other BG quests would be available that day.  Upon completing a BG quest, you'll get a free Generic token.</p><p>Basically SOE has chosen to make Smugglers an obsolete zone.  With the exception of people zoning in for the DD quests, most people will avoid Smugglers like the plague since it takes far too much time for the exact same pay out.  Whether this is good or not is subject to opinion.  Since Smugglers has become my favorite zone, I'm not happy about things.  But they are what they are.</p>

<p>Exactly as you would think. The trade is one to one, and the gear will cost the total of the tokens. So if your piece costs 45 gears and 45 ganaks then the new price will be 90 BG tokens.</p>

<p>thanks for the reply Any idea when this is gonna go live? and FYI I like smugglers too it's fun except I am being completely pwned cause I am on a PvE server and it is very tough for me to get even INTO a game sometimes I sit for housrs before even getting into first available. so for me as the sisters of war are my only way to get the PvP gear the consolidation is helpful but I do see your point about the smugglers den though.</p><p>But another Viewpoint on it could be this... that it will take out the ppl that are just there colecting the tokens and put the ppl who ACTUALLY WANT to play smugglers (such as myself) in there.</p>

<p>They could make Smugglers worth it more by upping the tokens given. Make it 2-3 times more than Gears since it takes that much longer.</p>
