Client crashing

<p>I've tried different characters, full scans, freshly copied characters...no matter what I do, one single left-click of the mouse crashes me to desktop.</p><p>Any suggestions?  I'd like to check out the new changes.</p>

<p>If you are using Profit UI or maybe another custom UI, I'd recommend you to change back to the default UI just to check if it's ok.</p><p>I'm using Porfit UI but for some reasons, it makes my game crashing on test. Back with default UI and everything is ok. I guess an update will come for custom UI, they made some changes again to the user interface.</p>

<p>How are you experiencing crashing? How is it related to Profit? I have been modding the ui(Profit) on test in preparation for the update and the only crash bug I have experienced so far is the falling one...and it happens with default as well. Is there another bug you could tell me about so I can fix it?</p><p>Silat</p>

<p>I do have a few toons I can move around but anytime I've tried adventureing an looting be it body or chest drops immedialty after I crash to character sheet and cannot keep it from happening on that toon so haveint 2 toon stuck in dangerous positions who could die the moment i log on makes Test upplayable for me till the fix so now I can't test and feed back to the devs</p>

<p>My client crashes as soon as I get to "Adding Character to Zone" Or w/e that step is called. And I've tried another account and it works fine. So it's nothing related to UI's obviously.</p>

<p>I also have ben crashing - over and over - here are the steps:</p><p>Log in - AOK</p><p>Character Selection screen - AOK</p><p>Enter Game with a character - AOK</p><p>After the game opens up - the welcome window pops up. At this point everything in the background is AOK -</p><p>As soon as I click to close the Welcome Window - game crashes to desktop with a client crash message.</p><p>This has began happening since: <span>Test Update Notes: Wednesday, September 29, 2010.</span></p><p>Update:  As long as I keep the welcome window open - I can move my character around using the keyboard - as soon as i click with the mouse - I get this crash. This is happening on both testcopy server and test server.</p>

<p>I"m not crashing to desktop I'm getting booted to Character sheet every time I log into 2 of my toons now this has been happening since friday's update. once I get logged on close the welcome window 10 seconds and boom back to character sheet.</p>

Delete eq2ui_mainhud_welcome.xml from your ui/default directory and run the game via everquest2.exe not the patcher. You will still have the window. You can make any change you want to the xml it will not change the in game window in any way.</p><p>Silat</p>
