Greetings,

Just though I would drop in and say hi. I am a new EQ2(er?) and after a ridiculous ammount of class testing and an inordinant ammount of research, I have decided on the wounderful Troubador class to be my one and only EQ2 baby! Gimped, "not quite up to par", lolroll a dirge instead.... I think not! I have always prided myself on being able to embrace whatever class interests me the most and excel, despite the current state of said class. That being said, I look forward to joining the Bard's party and promise not to clutter your boards with random questions that I can spend 5 minutes looking up myself.

v/r

Ryme

P.S. - unoriginal name... I know, so don't hate - appreciate.

I like my troub tbh.... My main is a coercer, but I have a really solid troub with some raid gear too. I enjoy playing the troub, you're most likely not gonna top the parse, but you sure are gonna help others top the parse. If you aren't a glory hound and don't mind making others stronger, you will like the troub.

Yeah I am more than ok being a buffbot, but I won't be one of those that thinks that ALL they do is buff. I will be slamming the parse as hard as I can to help the raid and if I occasionally parse higher than that dirge... thats just gravy.

I hit about 20k the other day in Vig 1 on my troub... Not great, but not terrible. Plus the bard end line aa Rhythmic Overture and Victorious Concerto are sooooo fun. PS Sol Ro Deity FTW. Feel free to hit me up with any questions.

Let me say welcome, as well.

I am also new to EQ. My only character is a troub. I played EQOA since BETA, and I played a Minstrel for 7 years there.

For those who may not no. EQOA is Everquest Online Aventures for the PS2 only. In which the 2 bard Master Classes (as they were refered to in EQOA) are Minstrel and Gypsy. Ilived to be the ultimate support player. I dumped points into all my stats and MCs (MCs are very similar to AAs) into the areas to advance all of my suport abiliteis, so when i cam to EQII a few weeks ago, troub was the only way I could see myself going.

As of now I feel I made the right choice, and I love it. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

I'm also on the Guk server and a lvl 45 Troubador that just came back to the game. Would also say welcome and would love to meet other Troub's that actually like their class.
