<p>Hi,</p><p>I can't log in on my mystic on Runnyeye. I get either:</p><p>'Server did not respond in a timely manner and may be backlogged. Please try again in a few minutes'</p><p>or it starts loading, then when it says 'creating entities' in the bottom right corner, it dumps me straight back to character select.</p><p>I can log in on other characters on that account and server; I can log in on the US servers - but I can't play my main on Runnyeye <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>Any tips?</p>

<p>My husband and I are having the same issue. </p><p>I am unable to log in 3 of my characters and he is unable to log in 2 of his.  I've found that if I do log in, and then try to zone, it locks my character out.  We are both on Runnyeye.  We have tried logging in on each other's computers and still unable to log the characters.  We have also tried clearing all the cache files in the eq2 directory.  All the charadters are getting stuck on the "Connecting to Zone Server" screen and then dumping back to character select.</p><p>This has been heppening since Thursday.</p><p>As with the OP we can both log in to other characters on the same accounts, but cannot zone.</p>

<p>I just managed to log in - although I was in a different zone to where I logged off last time I played. I had logged out in Butcherblock Mountains, when I zoned in I was in the Commonlands. I used the bell to get to BBM and then got dumped out of the game and back into the merry whirl of zoning crashes to character select.</p><p>What gives?</p>

<p>This is very annoying... I don't want to play on alts, I want to play my froggie. Have /petitioned in game as well but still no response.</p>

<p>Ummm... I'm not sure - I think we have a separate machine configured for firewall duty but would have to check with other half.</p><p>But why would that stop me playing one character but not any of the others on the same account and server?</p>

<p>Made a new character, got it to the stage where I needed to use the bell to travel, and the same thing happened - now I can't log back in on that character either.</p><p>So at the moment my character list consists of 3 characters who are all stuck in limbo because trying to zone in crashes me back to character select.</p><p>Still no response from support either on here or from the petition report.</p><p>What am I supposed to do, never use the bloody bells? Because it would seem that's what is causing issues here.</p><p>No I do not want to reinstall; our line speed is 512kb and it will take forever. I guess if I don't get any help I'll just have to give up on this game and go back to WoW.</p>

<p>I did finally get a reply from SOE.</p><p>"It sounds like a router issue".  That was the extent of the answer.  No indication of what ports might be causing a problem or why it would suddenly occur WHILST i was playing and with NO changes to my hardware or software.  Being a good little sheep my husband and I completely disabled the firewall from our router and opened up the whole lot. *scary*</p><p>What happened?  Nothing.  Same issue.  So I have replied to the ticket response, pointing them to this post and explaining all the above.  Fingers crossed that I get a better reply the second time.</p>

<p>I wish you luck - I'm afraid I'm not that patient and have given up. I know Sony don't have an amazing rep for customer service but I'm not happy having all of my characters locked out of the game for no good reason and with zero contact from support, so I've cancelled my account already.</p>
