After raid tonight I was looking through ACT and noticed alot more "misses, parries, and blocks" than usual. My "To Hit %" was down to 69% where it used to be, at the very least 88% or higher. Usually it's in the 90's. My slash/pierce/ranged is over 700 and as you all know we get the large increase to accuracy from Focus Aim and yes I hit it whenever it's up. Was wondering if anyone else was seeing a large drop as well? Thanks

Forgot to say where we were raiding... PoRT

I'm refering to ranged autoattack

I have a 5-8% drop in hit rate also. Been trying to figure out what it is and my aa hit rate is in the 70's on some fights. I have seen the drop in various raid zones. It seems to me to be happening in zones also. There is a drop in the AA hit rate comparing before and after via act logs. There are too many variables in the accuracy buff's and FA to tell where it is happening in particular. Do you think it is straight AA or is it in the AoE/Flurry procs?

I did not see this in PoRT or Icy Keep, but those are th eonly two I have been to since the patch. Are you sure you didn't lose some hit bonus? ie: no dirge accuracy, no warden accuracy, no brawler in the raid?

well, I'm an assassin, but I can say I had 100% hit rates when I was testing the bow changes against dummies. My melee hit rates are normally lower against the dummies (who are guardians) than against typical raid mobs. Only brawler mobs give me lower hit rates. Is it auto attack that's hitting less or combat arts? i wonder if the aoe or flurries are missing more often.

Or, could their be an issue with AE autoattack and Flurry on ranged attacks where they aren't recieving all of the regular to hit bonuses as regular attacks, so they miss more, dropping your overall to-hit percentage?

Its just the fact that they miss at all. You flurry and AE now, where you didn't before, and every time a flurry or AE misses, your to hit % goes down.

It was pretty late when I started this thread and I forgot to mention that I was refering to Ranged Autoattack.

I had a dirge in group and I'm pretty sure we had a brawler in raid as well. Unfortunately I didn't check my accuracy to see what it was at. It appears that there were more "misses" than usual. I'll have to go through my previous parses for PoRT to make sure it's "misses" and not "blocks or parries". I'll check my "to hit %" for each of the named fights and see if there is one that's worse than the others. Come to think of it we just started killing Two Rune Theer around the same time the patch hit. Maybe he's affecting it.

Either way I would assume my "to hit %" would scale concurrently with my increase in attacks. Unfortunately I've only done a few raids since the patch so it may take a few more runs to figure out why this happened. Only one of you has noticed any change so it's probably something on my end. Thanks for the feedback.

Well all I can speak for atm is HM construct since that is all I was doing last week. We did go kill toxx real quick afterwards though.

On HM construct auto attack had a 69% hit rate, with flurry proc'ing 4 times and aoe auto procing 1 time. The AoE landed and only one flurry was blocked. Was all blocks and parries actually, no misses. Think construct is a pain to hit anyway though.
