I remember there being a mention of an inter-guild broker system as an amenity in the Guild Hall in the works over a year ago; it was an amenity where guild members could sell items to only Guild members. Was this idea scrapped?

And by Inter, you mean Intra . . . but we understand.

Last time it came up, the Devs said it was still something they'd like to do, but the current game and broker mechanics made this fairly prohibitive from a time standpoint.

And what exactly is the point of this? Is this intended for larger guilds?

Kind of like a guild vending machine.

Or, it could be a way for guild members to offer items up for sale to their guildies at a reduced price since it'd be on a guild-only market. IE lets say you win a few extra SF shinies, you could then list them for your guildies at a relatively low price instead of putting them on the regular broker.

It would make even more sense to have this mechanic if it did not have an associated broker fee with it.

lol, yeah sorry "Intra-Guild Broker". When I came back to the game a couple of months ago I was really hoping to see this. I have an alchemist and I would love to be able to put up potions/poisons/etc. to guild members to purchase, at production cost, with no broker fees for raids.

Rather than that simply add another field to the broker : price for guildies.

This allows to emulate a guild broker (set non guild price to 1000pp), but it's more flexible.

I think a separate broker entity only available in a Guild hall would be best with similar searching as the standard broker system would be better than integrating it with the existing one. Unless there is a 'checkbox' or something that only shows Guild sales.

Agreed a guild checkbox would be welcome. A combined broker is better since it allows (as example potion makers) to sell for profit to strangers and with no benefit to guildmates.

An issue is that this feature would practically increase the guid bank space to infinity. I would simply put collections or whatever guildmates may need at price zero.

So i don't think it will be available easily, since guild storage is hard to get (24 slot each 10 levels).

if its not integrated with the regular broker it will never get used. I don't think you need a guilmatecheck box in the search window, because when you search for something, it'll show up at the top for you because of the lower prices. But if they do it, I hope they have a way to set a standard price for guildies. Like, all items are free for guildies, or minimum price, or even a % less than everyone elses price. Don't want to have to set 2 prices for each item.
