<p><em>"<strong>The Best Live Game Award</strong> recognizes the best currently-operating online game, having been launched in North America for at least 12 months (before May 2009), and distinguishing itself by that exceptional new content through expansion packs, patches, or other updates in the last 12 months, as well as a vibrant player community, high-quality community management and network operation during that period."</em></p><p>SF was a mediocre expansion that took way too long to come out and was plagued by terrible server performance for the first couple months of the launch. It also had pretty much the worst itemization I have ever seen in an expansion. Almost every legendary and fabled item had to be redone. We've had one good GU since then but it mainly contained stuff that should have been included with the SF expansion. Still, I would consider voting for EQ2 if we had received some "exceptional new content" in GU57.</p><p>Though I don't have a problem with the job Amnerys has been doing, I think EQ2 has a long ways to go in community management. Misleading statements by the senior producer and overly enthusiastic sensorship of the forums by the mods make me tend to disagree with EQ2 offering "high-quality community management".</p>
