A noticable hack..

<p>Hey Devs,</p><p>On a repeated basis, there are a few opposite-faction players who seem to have the gift of crashing <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">just the</span></strong> <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">tanks</span></strong> in our pvp groups to desktop - same players EVERY TIME.  Whenever we run across these players (they happen to be on the FP side), our tanks mysteriously go LD in the middle of the fight; again it's JUST our tanks.</p><p>My guildmates and myself have petitioned this repeatedly, <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">please look into it</span></strong>.  Wonder if any of you out there are experiencing this?</p>

<p>I know there were a couple avoidance bugs out there that caused the tanks to crash if they were charmed. Those bugs were fixed and obviously charm has been removed so i'm not sure what could cause that. I've seen plenty of people LD after killing people, not just tanks.</p>

I've seen plenty of people LD after killing people, not just tanks.</p></blockquote><p>Hmmm...</p><p>10 fights in 10 it's been just our tanks.  I wouldn't think anything about it, except for it's occurring whenever we come across three specific opposite-faction players and it's ONLY happening when we encounter these specific players.  They are all scouts: one is a ranger, one is a brig and the other is an assassin.  I'll keep an eye on it.</p>

<p>There is a confirmed hack out there that causes your screen to fade to black and back and ports you away. My friends and I had this happen repeatedly from the same player. This could be a nasty new version of this perhaps...</p>

I've seen plenty of people LD after killing people, not just tanks.</p></blockquote><p>Actually, this bug is back in PVE as of last weekend.</p><p>Went LD on xebnok again for the first time in ages, happened twice and I'm sure it was the charm+avoidance bug again...</p><p>Wouldn't be the first time SoE reintroduced an old bug.</p>

<p>This happens to both factions though I remeber a while back in TSO this happening allot when a certian guild was not in a faction and many things being said about this and that.  I know it was fixed for a while but I have noticed it happening again.</p>

We had 5 people go LD in a BG yesterday. There seems to be another crashy type bug roaming around now!</p>
