Any good Fighter class for a Fae?

<p>Posted this in Guardian thread. I wanted to make a Fae. I like the idea of a tough little guy that looks like a major pansy! What class should I pick for a Fae and what should I focus on as a Fae?</p>

<p>no no no no no</p><p>Glide/Slowfall are generlaly bad for a tank too much time in air == bad thingIt makes the group/healer(s) job a lot harder to follow where you are and what you are doing.... there is a reason I'm a barbarian with huge wingewd attached to the side of my head... to STAND OUT. A tank should be noticed at a glance it makes your group/raid's life much easier.</p><p>I know you think its "cool" right now but I assure you you'll wish you picked a larger race when you level up and are bombared by a lot of requests to "use an illusion". Sure for soloing and messing about it doens;t matter but if you ever decide to take yourself seriously as a tank you are already workiogn at a disadvantage.</p>

<p>For pure stats wise.. no race is not an issue but as for the above reasons it will be unless you have illusions pernamently on in the end.</p>

<p>Most healers could care less what you look like. Same in raid's. They just click you in the raid window or most healers in a group want you to be F2 so they can just keystroke back to you in nothing flat.</p><p>Fae fall would be pretty handy at times. I can see it being an issue when a few mobs and such but not that big a deal. If your raid tanking and need to fall down fast just press the spacebar. My healer friend started giving out featehrs again on trash zones just so I would see his message telling me to take my harvester cloak off. I always have that on when running around so I can just ignore all the hills and stuff.</p><p>Play what you want and enjoy. Get a Mystic Moppet doll and make yourself smaller!</p>

<p>You can turn off glide/slowfall now on Fae so it wont hurt to use them.  Also, if size is a problem there are things you can use to 'grow' by 25% or so which is plenty. (nearly elf height)</p>

<p>Guardians get a fun spell called something like "Form of the Rook" that casts a large golum illusion as well as one that makes you glow that is called "Guardian's Sanctuary" iirc. As a fae guardian i can make myself very visable with two clicks of the mouse, also glide is now a castable ability and i always have it off on both my tank and caster at least in any raid zone. Safefall is a bit of a detriment, but nothing major so long as you are quick onto the spacebar as required. Also add in a harvesting cloak and you'll be as tall as most races without an illusion, stack all three and you will be gigantic and glowing.</p><p>Beyond that, neither winged race gets the "tank" package of racial abilities so you do lose a tiny bit of contested avoidance maybe.</p>
