Switching between Windowed and Full Screen

<p>Prior to the last GU I was able to easily Alt-Tab between windowed and full screen mode. In this way I could check information on websites about quests, etc. pretty easily.</p><p>Since the patch when I switch from FS to windowed it totally messes up the graphics. I cannot type, read, or do anything effectively. Once I look up the information I have to click on the 'EQ' button in game, go to performance, and click 'Full Screen'. This resets the picture and it is fine...however it's a royal pain in the behind to do it every time I alt-tab out.</p><p>Additionally, when I do this it resets some of the windows (if I have my bags open for example it totally screws them up and I have to drag them back to where I want them.)</p><p>Basically after the GU things really got hosed up for switching. Anyone have any ideas?</p>

<p>I had that problem a long time ago and got sick of having my bags messed up every time I switched back to check wiki or email or something.</p><p>I finally just started running eq in windowed mode, and then could alt-tab my heart out with no problem.</p><p>If you do still go full screen, try pressing ALT + ENTER.  This should toggle between full screen/windowed w/o having to go to options, performance to do it.</p><p>One other thought - you should really consider setting up a dual screen system.  I can't tell you how convenient it is to have a wiki website on your secondary monitor while you play the game.  This is one of those things you don' t know that you NEED.</p>
