It's a Battle, 6man vs 6man and the better group wins.

Hope this helps!

If you are near the center and can see the person that dropped the relic you can click on it right away and chances are good you will pick it up. So if you do not have a healer it is good to run, but when you are about to die be close to where your team can see you drop and click the relic without having to leave the middle. Pay attention to the relic holders health. If it turns red get ready to grab even if the healer brings it back to orange. Also a good idea to have the team split where they click for the relic, because sometimes it immediately goes to center. If one person is clicking the dropped body while another clicks center your chances of grabbing are that much improved. If at all possible let your oop healer get the relic lol.

As I understand it, how fast you can 'harvest' the relic in Gears is dependant upon your casting speed. Those classes that have high casting speeds or buffs will be able to snatch it faster. It also involves grabbing it when it drops on the player for that half second before it respawns on the pad.

If you have a healer, and manage to get the relic, then don't go dashing all over hell and creation, and let the healer keep you alive a bit longer.

Remember, IT"S ALL ABOUT THE RELIC. Fighting private duels up above does nothing to help your side to win. If you are not trying to get the relic or help hold on to it longer, or to prevent the other team from doing the same, then you are not doing your job.
