Hey all,

I have a semi-high level illy that I just don't feel like playing anymore, but I am considering betraying to Coercer and then copying over to EQ2:X where I will only maintain a 'silver' account. I will play fairly regularly but not enough to get gear raided, so will only be relying on MC gear and expert level spells. I will play with my kids on occasion but will mostly solo, so I just wondered how bad it would be for a Coercer without Masters, especially charms when soloing?

Any thought would be appreciated, cheers.

I wouldn't worry too much about Masters as they aren't that much more powerful vs Expert.

OTOH being restricted to MC/Treasured will severly [Removed for Content] you after T7.

Most Masters are nice to have but not essential. The only ones you really need are Charm pre-level 65 and Possess Essence after. The Mastered Charm makes a big difference but you can add AA's into Enhance: Charm to reduce the resistability.
