View Full Version : Revamped Guardian Sphere Bugged

<p>The revamped version on the Guardian Sphere ability doesn't work on the Test Copy server. </p><p>I have spent the last hour testing it vs anything from solo to raid mobs, and it never procs stoneskins on the caster (it is supposed to have a 25% chance to proc every time the caster takes damage).</p><p>The new wording on the ability seems to suggest that it procs stoneskins on the <em>attacker</em>, as opposed to the guardian, but then carries on to contradict that by specifying that the effect can only target the guardian.</p><p>Unfortunately, I haven't been able to test whether the ability procs stoneskins on group members (the second component of Guardian Sphere), but it might, needless to say, be bugged as well.</p><p>As an aside, please extend the duration of the stoneskin when it procs on group members.  A mere 10 seconds means the stoneskin proc on group members is almost always wasted on raids.  Instead, I would suggest 30 - 50 sec duration, so a stoneskin proc triggered by an AE might be able to prevent damage vs the <em>next</em> AE.</p>

Devs get days off too (despite the fact that some do read & post on their personal time). Even then you're not guaranteed to get a reply, make sure you /bug it in game as well.</p>

<p>I bug-reported it in-game before I posted here. </p><p>Now I'm just bumping the thread in order for it to not escape dev attention--as has happened so often in the past with much more serious issues.</p>

<p>I don't understand why it proc's a trigger of stoneskin for someone to begin with.  Why not just work like the bard group wide stoneskin and have the stoneskin block the hit that made it proc rather than the next hit.</p>
