I find that I can be very competitive. Certain other scouts have more aa than I do, and it is fairly obvious when I'm fighting them. Also Naggy assassins have access to some pretty awesome weapons, and the rest of the jewelry; however, you'll only notice this if you do a one on one with them, or two or three of them jump on you. Personally, I find rangers rather annoying, 'cause they can throw out as much dps if not more, but do not have to get near you to do it. So we can chase after them to kill them, but they can stun, run away, shoot, and repeat till your dead. Assassin's are not effective unless you can get behind your opponent; hence, I try to stay with a group. Its a challenging class, but very fun.

Whats funny is I was thinking of building my berserker up for t4 BG.

Unless the ranger is geared to the teeth, I can completely out-DPS or match his DPS, at max range (for a good 20 seconds, at least - while frontload is up.) Once you get your 160 aa, full BG gear, full adorns, masters, etc - the only class you shouldnt be able to kill on a t4 assassin is a healer or crusader who REALLY knows what they're doing. Even then, I can generally win most of those fights too, assuming I get the jump.

Also, I have to disagree completely with the behind statement. All being able to get behind them does is allow you to fire off masked strike, for a quick stealth hit. All of your best stealth hits can be used from the front, and there's multiple other ways to gain access to stealth. I can completely rip someone apart from the front if need be, or like I said earlier, at ranged as well. It's all about having the right build/gear/aa/adorns.
