I have never in any games heard are seen so many want to play there twinks rather then level cap. Alot of people tell me pvp is not fun at 90 I should make a twink also. The gear is easy obtainable really no incintive to level for most new people.

Many people had alts for Thidranki, which was the level 20-24 battleground. These alts would be twinked out as much as possible, but at the same time, the lower levels offerred a cleaner game, relying more on core class abilities. It was also much less of a time investment to get an alt up to a competative level. I imagine there may be a similar phenomena at work in EQ2.

I've heard of level locking in other RPG's. I don't really care though, I only play EQ2. And I wouldn't play it if I was forced to only pvp at 90.

I dont say only pvp at 90 , The amount of AA and the gear needs to be nerfed alot. Be in a Warfield also having a great fight then at a higher level 30, 40's attack you to

AA is the only thing that might need to be looked at. Gear is easy for any player to get.

PvP is dangerous. Expect to die.

Lower tiers are easier to gear a pvp twink, but its way too easy to avoid dying in these tiers. Higher tiers are definetly better for pvp. I notice the higher tiers stick around to the death way more.

When did it become bad to make your toon the best it can be at the range you wish to play it twinking as most of you call it is easy and fast for anyone even new players. Coin gear and aa are all extremely easy to obtain you can have enough coin for gear up to t5 before you hit 9 if you wait for it wait for it WORK TO BETTER YOUR TOON! Heaven forbid i take the time to go out earn my aa gear and coin only to be talked down to because im a so called twink my first toon was a so called twink my last toon will be . We do not play this game to be mediocre.

I Find it funny when people complain about twinks, it is a pvp server, you want to get your character as good as you can, this isn't pve it isn't a rush to 90 people can pvp in lower Tiers.

honestly low level pvp is a lot simpler and doesn't take as long to get everything up to par with the people that have been playing there since the level cap moved up.

If SOE didn't want low level pvp, they would get rid of the level cap or disable pvp below 80 or wouldn't have pvp gear below 80 or whatever. There is no need to attack low level pvp. leave it alone.

It's an option. If someone wants to lock a toon and twink it out, good on them. They pay $15/month just like anyone else. I prefer to have my toons at 90, so it's not an issue to me. Just be thankful that the devs don't just cater to one aspect of pvp.

This game was never designed for pvp in the first place, however, the devs have and continue to try and satisfy everyone's "needs" with improper game code.

I like the fact that there is content in both pve and pvp.

I have had an account since the start of EQ2 and started a toon on Nagafen when it started... never played PVE since and am a very casual PVP'er...

I have never hit the level cap with any of my toons but have several toons in the various tiers for PVP purposes.

I pay my $15 just like everyone else and appreciate having the ability to lock a toon and maximize it's potential in each tier (over 30 now with the recent changes.)... I enjoy getting the most out of each tier and really have no ambition to cap out....I am sure others feel the same as well.

I support level locking and open PVP....there are other things more important regarding the PVP game mechanics than catering to people who complain about level locking or twinks.

T4 to me has been some of the best pvp ive had for while.I have always been for lvl locking and was atacking gaurds back in the day to max exp debt.People complained because it they said it was unfair and exploiting and it went away. Well i was willing to spend the time to stay at that lvl and farm wc to get money and get the gear i need survive.I think the people who complain about "twinking" are geting PL then getting smoked by some one 10-15 lvls below them because they have no gear no aa and thier skills arnt maxed.

I have a necro at 35 and will not unlock until 160aa hes curently at 82.Im having a blast doing it to And that is what matters for my money im paying.

One other thing its kinda of a pet pieve but i know its not going to change and thats the word "twink".Technically imo maxing your char to the best gear and most aa at that lvl to me isnt truly a twink its a maxed char. IE Eq 1 back in the day when you could give a lvl 15 toon lvl 60 gear with no restrictions and could tank tank K.C. Now that was a true TWINK. Aww the good ole days btw bags of stuff for sale at T1.
