Title says it all really, WoW players should be familiar with the feature that lets you play in a window but full screen, is there any way to activate this in EQ2? Apologies if this is in the wrong section, it felt the most appropriate.

Umm not quite sure what you are referring to, but I play in windowed mode myself. There is a slight border though, but it also allows me easy access to browse.

I'm on the pay monthly version so yeah, it's a premium game.

Exactly what I mean, essentially the game acts like it's in full screen but you can alt tab out with no delay like any other windowed application.

Unfortunately I don't think there is a command in EQ2 to do that. I'd love it if there was as it's something I'd use myself (I play windowed and alt tab to other things frequently -- being an officer in a raiding guild almost requires it during raids, hehe). If you haven't already, put a /feedback in in-game and maybe it's something Rothgar or one of the other programmers can add.

I read the alt-tab time was increased for Shader 3.0, but I'm not using that and its ridiculously slow... I can't imagine what speeds that occur with that on.

I also remember being able to alt-tab out of fullscreen to another program thats already running (like say my browser), without the game jumping to windowed mode first, which is what it seems to do now every time. Of course, I hadn't played since TSO, so I might be remembering that incorrectly.
