I know the EU servers were down for 13 hours yesterday (maybe today depending on your timezone) but I dont seem to be able to find a reason or apology from SOE.

Is there none and this is normal service from now on?

Actually there was a notice and reasons. The NPC thought they didn't need clothes anymore lol

http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=485414

I knew about the no clothes, some of me alts were less than decorated but the lack of an apology and reason behind the fault shouts very loud..

Uhhh, did you read the post in the link? I see the words "I'm very sorry" "Our apologies" and "We apologize" in three different replies.

And they explained the reason.

Not the fact that at 1AM they tell us the servers will be up aprox at 2AM but we get them up at around 10AM PDT. Without anyone keeping up informed at ALL. They could have any monkey to post on the forums that the hamsters are still at it and doing there best every 30 min or so. But they think its better to have everyone on EU servers fuming with no comments from SoE

Yea they have apologized for the downtime but they did NOT apologize for not keeping us informed during the downtime, and they didn't give any reason as to WHY they didn't keep us informed either.

Looks to me like they have no intention of righting this wrong. All we got was a BS RP excuse/apology after the event, and no promise or indication of communication improving in future. I appreciate the volunteer forum mods and volunteer guides trying to help us to find out what was happening, but it's not down to them to do so imo.

SHAME ON YOU SOE!

It's the same old handling of the Euro servers and the people on it seems. Just ignore the complaints and do it over and over again.

I wonder what the outrage would be if this would happen to all the US servers..

Not that the server were 13 hours down. But nobody cared to post once in a while or twitter or told a forum administrator of these boards.. i wish SOE would get that :/

It's as if the suits high up at Sony think that no one will notice that their product goes down for 13 hours.
