When I logged in this morning (about 4am PDT) the Vitality potion (Rested Body) had disappeared from the market. Is there a limit on how often this can be bought?

I believe they merged Rested Body and Rested Mind into a new potion that does both adventure and tradeskill vitality at once for the same amount of SC as one of the previous potions. I don't remember the name of the potion though.

Looks great, but WAY too expensive.

$15 for a single cloak? Outrageous. Many thought the dark elf armor crate was too expensive at $17, and that was a full set of armor plus a cloak with both the same slowfall and a dark elf illusion! Why in the world should this cloak be priced so high? There's no logic to it at all.

Because they have been testing the waters with LON for a couple of years now to see how much people will pay for fluff, appearance and moderatly usedful items with "cooler" appearance. When you see items like the Wings of Shadow being sold for literally hundreds of dollars . . . well you get the point.

Personally, I bought the aurora cloak because I had SC in my account that was "free" that I have never used and this was really the first thing I saw I wanted /shrug. If people werent buying the items they wouldnt be churning them out at light speed.

We now have a section of welcome screen which I dont think existed previously . . ."Item of the Week" which leads me to believe they are going to introduce at least 1 new item per week and push it here.

The logical progression of this is that naturally people are going to start saying "If I am going to pay $15-25 for an item I want it to be useful". An you will get you wish thus nullifying the previous statements from SOE that SC items wouldnt affect gameplay because they can then say "We were just giving the players what they asked for", much in the same way all the EQ2X changes are being integrated into the existing live servers. So when people end up begging to just convert all the servers it will be an easy swap over and it will be because the players asked for it.

I personally think someone at $OE has a comprehension issue. Micro-transactions means small amounts. You're pricing these "fluff" items at more than a months' subscription.

My other problem with a lot of these pieces is the fact that you're making it obvious that they can be made, but not by the crafters in the game, who should be making them in the first place. Hence forth why everyone I've talked to has stated that the crafting in this game is meaningless except for 2-3 classes.

I even clicked "Show all items, even unobtainable ones" and it didn't show. Hmm...

I also hit "Show all" and it's just not coming up. Oh well...

EDIT: It is back for me. Odd...
