Scouts our weakness?

<p>When I first made a bard I was told he would be a scout killer. Now I see an assassin and he owns me if I don't evac. I was wondering if it is something I am doing wrong or if it is just the class that kills bards. I don't feel like my bard is weak being able to kill most plate classes, but assassins kill me before I can even think.</p><p>Let me know what you all think about this.</p>

<p>If he gets the jump on you... yeah, you're dead.  Pretty much the case for a lot of classes in BG, but especially true of a class that can chain CAs and put out 3 times your total health in damage in under 10sec.  That's just the way Assassins are built.</p><p>But hey, you can run faster than them (even if snared) and use your spells/CAs while you move.  And you can mez/charm.  These are your advantages.  Use them <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>PS - there's a huge thread on EQ2 Flames forums under Troubs regarding BG experiences.  Definitely worth a read if you want some tactics/ideas!</p>
