I am an older player returning, played all the MMOs out there....did EQ2 a few years back and want to return. I WILL be returning, I just desperatly want a guild to join.....people to hang out with (adults preferred, the older the better) that play consistantly, have FUN, explore, PvP and help eachother out.

I am stuck on Vox or Bazaar, just the way it is at this point in my life.... Please tell me there are consistnant groups of folk banded togetehr in clans on one of these servers? AND are you taking members?

I am around 40 yrs old, work full time, married. Love games. Enjoy PvP, helping others and exploration. I LOVE player housing. I am willing to help anyone lvl 1 thru 90. Even if it is instant death. Pixels dont matter to me, alliances do, friendship does, laughing and having a blast together. I even enjoy to RP, but am good either way

I am on CST/EST USA times.

Not much of a dungeon crawler or instance runner, but heck, beggars cant be chosers! If I can help, I want to.

I am very interested in joining a guild.

What do I need to do? What class? What alignmnet?

I read that Vox is "dying" and very low pop. I see that Bazaar is not far behind but much better at least.

If ANYONE out there needs an older gamer like myself in your guild, let me know. I am yours.

Thanks for the soap box to sell myself upon.

To bad you cant play on Befallen. My fiance and I have a extremely small guild ( just he and I at the moment hehe). I am 45 and he is 32. We are hoping to get more folks. I hope you find what you are looking for.

Actually you can copy your character to the new eq2x server and play there.

Or just reroll a new toon if you want.

How does one "copy" your player over?

I thought leaving the Live Game Exchange servers was impossible?

I don't think the copies work from Exchange. But what they meant is a copy to the free to play server...which I wouldn't suggest.

And my hopes have started to fade....

So what indeed is the verdict? Can you copy over?

He can go the the eq2x servers for as little as $50 and permantly play eq2 for a very long time without much cost.

$5 to activate his account w passport$35 to purchase a Copy token and transfer his toon$10 to upgrade to silver

If he did it right he could load up on all his vet rewards, and any no trade/heirloom items he wants, He could upgrade all his spells to master (which stays and wont change for at least 1.5 years), He can purchase a FULL set of mastercrafted armour (adorned). He will have a beefed up toon and never have to pay above the initial $50 fee unless he wanted to equip legendary+ gear.

If yu look in the live gamer forum I beleive 1-2 post down you will see people confirming you can. I can also get you a post by smokejumper that states ALL servers will be able to COPY. But the only definitive way to get an answer is to just log onto your toon on the exchange and open up the market place. If you see the copy token you can purchase it and copy.

What I suggest is that you download the eq2xtended client now and just create a NEW free toon on the server to check it out and see if you like it. If you think everything is cool with you then. Purchase the $5 passport, get your account in order and copy.

The cool thing is you will likely have 500-2500 station cash already given to you for free by SOE from their initial station cash giveaway and the facebook giveaway. You will end up saving more money then what I mentioned before. Also if you really want to stay away from livegamer for good. Put your main character up for sale up for whatever you can and recoup some of the cost of copying to eq2x. By the end of it all you likely won't spend much if anything to copy to eq2x.

Here I thought we couldn't, no idea if we can then. Either way it's pointless. Allowing us to leave to that F2P server is a kick in the face and is just going to degrade our servers population more if so.

But it does mean that all the other servers are impacted by EQ2X exactly the same way..

SOE is finally treating Bazaar just like the other servers! Woohoo!

According to Smokejumper on the EQ2x forums, any server can transfer to the EQ2X server by purchasing the Copy token (35.00). There are limitations though in the zone that you need to be in to do so it seems.
