For those interested in finding out their cast order based on the dps out put vs their casting speeds, I have created a website that does this for you.

You just plug in your information (Tool Tip Window) for each spell, and bam! It calculates your best casting order. It still may need some tweeks, which is why its in beta testing atm. But feel free to get on and make a casting order. You can have your own profile by signing up and come back at a later time and change some numbers around when necessary to keep it up to date.

As well, this allows you to share your casting order with others via going to "Options" and copying the sharable link.

I hope you enjoy it!

www.kungfupig.com/castorder

My example of my casting order can be seen here:

http://www.kungfupig.com/castorder/...e9bf3db02aeb7b2

This is just downright silly! Seriously though, the amount of work that must have gone into this must have been staggering. Good job.

Why is it silly? Some people have a hard time figuring out how to do this naturally... so i provide a way to try and help them get a better understanding ...

It actually didn't take too long, the hardest part was figuring out the algarithm for a "pretend" cast timer for each spell but once i figured it out, it fell together

You misunderstand. I mean silly as a compliment

This is actually more useful than it might look like at first glance.

With some tweaking and fine tuning I was able to raise my solo dps about 1k, and group/raid dps about 3k.

A note though - some spells, like Fiery Annihilation - have both a nuke and a DOT component. Did some testing on dummies and dps shows a slight improvement if FA is cast before Crystal Blast, to give the DOT part more time to work.

Haven't had a chance to really dig in to it yet, but in the initial versions, DoT's were assumed to tick full duration. This allows you to take things like Upbeat Tempo and Harmonization to their greatest benefit.
