The Thousand Swords are a group of real life friends who have several years MMO experience across many other games. We have recently arrived in EQ2 and are looking to build a Guild where people can come together for relaxed, fun and sociable game play. We help each other out where we can, crafting stuff to help, offering a sword or spell if someone needs extra firepower etc.

We do enjoy instancing and doing fun group stuff whenever we can, although real life can get in the way. We're not the type of people who will demand you log in for runs at fixed times and commit to several hours a week for guild runs. It's a game, you should enjoy it.

We curently have a Guild Forum at http://thousandswords.socialgo.com/ we're slowly building up a stock of useful links and snippets of useful information there.

We're currently at Guild lvl 16 so if you would like to help build up a friendly, (hopefully) fun guild then contact any of us in-game.

Well, we've now hit Guild Level 30 and have bought a cosy little Hall and have started to equip it with various stuff to make a useful center for all your crafting activities. It also has a Spire travel point so you can leap to all the more remote places around the world with ease We're deciding which other stuff to put in there at the minute.

If you have ideas for stuff to go in there, or how a guild should run and grow and want to be part of a relaxed, friendly guild then give us a shout ingame.

We're still recruiting all levels and classes. We are a small guild but are hoping that we can build numbers up to allow us to start doing runs. We try and be as helpful as possible and are happy to mentor down as and when needed if we have no people at the appropriate level for you.

No matter your level or class we welcome any input and ideas for the guild.

Give me a shout ingame for further info or to join up.

As we approach the server merge to SplitEye / RunnyPaw <The Thousand Swords> are continuing our recruiting efforts. We're still decorating our Guild Hall and making sure the harvesters earn their keep, the storage box is now filling up nicely and the crafting stations need regular maintenance.

If you would like to be part of a growing, friendly and multi-national guild then ping me a message here or seek out one of our recruiters in-game.

Well it's happened, we're now on Splitpaw and are still looking to recruit people. We're at level 43 now and still building numbers up. Give us a shout ingame and we'll try to give you sensible answers to any questions you may have.

(answers may become less sensible as the night progresses)

The guild is now at level 53 and have a good number of people. We're still looking for more people to join us as we grow up in the game. We have a fair number of higher level players and are fast approaching the time where we can look to run the level 85-90 6 man instances as and when people want.

We are still a casual bunch who realise that the real world gets in the way of the important things in life and are not the sort to kick you if you can't log in for a few days or make any runs we do manage to plan in advance. If you would like more info shout at us ingame and we'll try to answer any questions that you do have.

We do have a Teamspeak server for general silliness as well as for laughing at each other as we stumble through the instances.

We've just hit level 55 so 2 more utilities will be added into the Guild Hall as soon as we decide if a Mender and something else is more useful than 2 more Lottery Goblins. (Galtavok will no doubt vote for 2 more Goblins)

We have managed a successful run through Tower of Frozen Shadows much to the surprise of the inhabitants of the Tower. Despite our obvious awesomness following that achievement we still have a relaxed and friendly outlook within the game, so if you feel you'll fit in with us give us a shout in-game and we can have a chat.

Well. We're now at Guild Level 73 and a bit and are still looking for new members.

We are now running ToFS x2 Raids as a guild with one fixed run per week for the raid with a good spread of toons that allow us to run all pretty much all the 6 man content as and when people can stop spouting nonsense on teamspeak. actually that bit isn't true..... some members never stop spouting nonsense on teamspeak!

We are still accepting members of all levels and ingame experience, we'll always look to help out when you may need us and run a Guild Forum with loads of useful information, handy links and pictures of pigeons as they continue their inevitable march to global domination. ( Hail the new overlords, I for one look forward to Pigeonocalypse)

The Guild Hall equipment has now expanded to include all the most useful items, a fully equipped crafting area with a skills buff statue, materials box and gatherers, 75 % subsidised mender, all traders, broker, banker and groundskeeper, travel portals and Rally Banner.

If you have a relaxed and friendly outlook to your EQ2 gaming time and want to spend your time in game flapping away at things while chatting away then give us a shout ingame and we'll try to give you sensible answers to any questions that you have.
