I have been running a lot of 30-39 BGs lately, and my survivability is on the high side. I have some minor in combat power regen items/abilites, but I seem to run out of power quite quickly, and the only way I can see to regen it at any kind of level is to take myself out of the action.

So my question is, do you guys have any advice on managing power? Also, I'll piggy back this question, DoTs, yes or no? I was wondering if they're even worth the power with all of the damage reduction abilities, especially Battle Hardening or whatever the fighter AA is.

I make use of the Manastone and potions constantly, and running out of Power is still inevitable for me.

Honestly, I think it's just the Tier. On Ganak fights, in particular, I find myself having to back off for a minute to regen some power, and the higher your survivability is.. the more likely you will have to do the same.

manastone, vessel of fyr'un, pots and totem can help. And of course pvp earring. Point is manaregen is capped at 135, so as soon as u reach it u can une only procing items fiving pondwash or so (for ex the lv 80 pvp belt). Enhancing that cap could be a good point imo

I play in T4 as well. Power management is a problem for me too. Indeed, it seems to be a common problem for almost everyone in T4. I have potions and mana stone and use them whenever they are up.

I find as my power starts to drop in a long protracted fight that I become much more selective of which CAs I use, and which targets I use them on. My DPS may fall off, but I try to squeeze as much effectiveness that I can from the power that is left. Knockbacks and AEs, (with a few very targeted taunts), are all I will spend power on at that point. But even that conservation is often not enough.

In Smugglers, I will just suicide off the edge to come back in 10 seconds. In Ganak, I will try to disengage and run off to regen for 30 sec. In Gears, well, you should already be trying to grab the relic....

Don't waste power trying to burn down a super tough tank or healer. Don't waste power on an enemy healer who is out of power. Don't waste power on private side duels that have no impact on the outcome of the scenario. Maximize power consumption by focusing on priority targets. Maximize power consumption by sharing the same target with team members.

I suppose there are other guidlines as well, but that's all that comes to mind at the moment.
